Kadai Kit

The versatile recycled Kadai comes with a high stand for barbecuing. And a low stand for use as a fire bowl. This is the basic ‘kit’ that you need to get started. With each kit, you get Kadai beads (to protect and insulate the bowl), a removable grill, tongs, and a wire brush.

Once you have the basic kit, you can either stop there or begin to add accessories (particularly a cooking tripod) to open up many possibilities for open-air cooking.

Tula Firepit

Hand-beaten om a single sheet of mild steel, the Tula Firepit is a great firepit for home, or being quite portable, could be used when camping. If you buy the cooking tripod (for 60cm Kadai) you could then add a swing grill, hanging bowl, or kettle for a true alfesco cooking experience. This is the lowest cost way of getting into Kadai cooking – just be aware that some of the accessories aren’t available for the Tula. If you are mainly interested in serious outdoor cooking then you need a 70cm diameter (or bigger) Kadai.

Kadai BBQ

Everything in one. Grilling, smoking, baking, or slow roasting, you can do it all with a Kadai. There is an impressive range of very affordable and really well-made and thought-out accessories to go with your Kadai. Cooking Tripod – the key to unlocking the true potential of a Kadai as it allows you to then add a range of accessories: Swing Grill – ideal for grilling over an open re. Cooking Bowl – perfect for cooking stews, curries, chili or stir y. Skillets – available to hang from the tripod or to sit on the grill. Hanging Hot Stone – ideal for steak, pizza, or fish. If you just want a firepit, the Tula is great value.
