ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER 

Role Highlights
This is a dynamic and varied role where no two days feel the same. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of our busy indoor shop floor.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service
Overseeing stock replenishment and merchandising
Maintaining excellent shop-floor and safety standards
Supporting rota planning and daily team coordination
Motivating and supporting a team of retail assistants

SALES ASSISTANT

We’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic full-time Sales Assistant to join our retail team.

This role includes regular weekend working, so flexibility is essential.

We’re looking for someone who has:

Previous experience in a fashion retail environment.
A genuine passion for fashion, accessories and styling.
Excellent customer service skills with a warm, approachable manner.
A positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.
The ability to thrive in a busy retail environment.

BARISTA/FRONT OF HOUSE

Role Highlights

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso-based drinks.
Deliver friendly and professional customer service.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and presentation.
Support the wider team with café operations as required.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Uphold excellent standards of service across the team.

Who We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment.
Confident in dialling in espresso, milk texturing, and producing consistent drinks.
Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
Energy and stamina for our busy café.
A passion for food, people and excellent customer service.
A desire to join a thriving and ambitious business.

KITCHEN PORTER 

Long Barn Café is looking for a part-time Kitchen Porter(s) to join our friendly team.  If you are energetic and keen to work in our busy café, we would love to hear from you!

You would help with maintaining our high level of hygiene, supplying the café with crockery and cutlery, keeping the kitchen clean & tidy and generally supporting the café team to provide a great service.  Some experience of working in a kitchen would be useful but is not necessary.

 Part time hours including alternate weekends
