Ordnance House

This selection of Aliumns features prominently in the award-winning garden at Ordnance House on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border. The garden at Ordnance House, created by Terry Winters and his wife Vanessa, specialises in Alliums and their drifts of stunning colour have been featured in many magazines, books and on TV. Create your beautiful borders with Allium Mount Everest, Allium Purple Sensation, and Allium nigrum, these flowers are perfect for creating stunning focal points in any garden.

A word from Terry;

” Long Barn has compiled a collection of gorgeous Alliums used in the garden and created the ‘Ordnance House Collection’.  There are three Alliums that together produce a sumptuous display.  These are the tall and statuesque white Allium ‘Mount Everest’.  The lovely and striking Allium ‘Purple Sensation’, is ideal as a mid-story plant on any border.  And lastly the smaller and delicately pretty white Allium ’Nigrum’.  Used together they create a Raspberry Ripple of striking colour and are a real eye-catcher in any garden.  Used individually and they produce rich seams of colour running through a garden’s beds and borders. Plant from early to mid-Autumn and enjoy a glorious display in late Spring “

Thank you to Terry Winters at Ordanance House for using his lovely pictures and the inspiration.
