THE LONG BARN COUNTRY CALENDAR

KITCHEN GARDENING SCHOOL starts 20th MARCH This course of 7 monthly lessons starts on Saturday 20th March, 9.30am til 1.30pm.  If you would like to learn how to design, plant and cultivate a kitchen garden with your favourite vegetables, salads and fruits, then this course is for you. With a combination of theory and hands on gardening, the course is led by Alaster Anderson of Living Leaves and Richard Norris of Long Barn. Suitable for beginners or cautious intermediates! Course notes,  seasonal refreshments and on line support inbetween lessons is provided. MOTHERS DAY POSY MAKING FOR CHILDREN   Saturday 13th MARCH. A special workshop for children aged 6 - 11 year olds which teaches them how to make a beautiful spring flower posy for Mothers Day (the day after on the 14th March!).  Each workshop lasts approx 1 hour and the cost is £10. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be offered to accompanying adults. A great one for grannies or dads to enjoy time out with their little ones.  Please call Natasha Thomas on 01962 733200 to make a booking.

EASTER CHOCOLATE CLASS  WITH THE ALRESFORD CHOCOLATE COMPANY    27th MARCH This is a fabulous course organised by the Alresford Chocolate Company. It teaches you how to make your own chocolates and will provide a large Easter egg to dress with your delicious own handmade chocolates. If you are tempted into this wonderful chocolate fest then give us a call for timings and prices.  01962 738684.
