Placing an order
When you (the customer) place an order you are making an offer to buy the goods you have specified at the price stated for those goods from us (Long Barn).

We will acknowledge your order by email to confirm that we have received your order. The confirmation will provide details of what you have ordered, the price that will be charged as well as the estimated dispatch and delivery information. This order acknowledgment is our acceptance of your order and at this point there will be a binding contract between you and us.

Our order acceptance will only cover the goods mentioned in it and may not cover all the goods you ordered. If this is the case then the offer you made for those additional goods will only be accepted when we send a further order acceptance.
Price of goods
We try our best to display accurate and up to date prices, whether in our catalogues, on our websites or in store. However, because of the number of goods that we sell occasionally there are errors. We cannot state the definitive price until we send you the order acceptance.

If the price of goods is lower than expected then we will charge the lower price and dispatch the goods. If the price of goods is higher than expected we will ask for your confirmation that you wish to proceed with the order at this higher price.

Payment may be by any credit or debit card with the exception of American Express and will be taken on the day of dispatch.

The cost of postage and packing cannot be included in the total of customer expenditure where there is a promotional offer based on spend.
Availability and dispatch of goods
We also do our best to ensure that all information on the website and in the catalogue is accurate and complete and we accept no responsibility for errors made. The availability of goods is only an estimate and should not be relied on as definitive statements as to whether the goods you wish to purchase are actually in stock.

Certain products, due to their nature, may be in short supply. We aim to clearly indicate where this applies and early ordering is recommended.

Some goods are bespoke and made to order. These must be ordered by telephone where indicated on the website and in the catalogue.
Delivery of goods
Any times and dates given for delivery of goods are only estimates and based on normal operating conditions. If there will be a substantial delay to your order then we will give you the option to cancel the order or allow you to choose alternative goods. In the event that we cannot meet your order then any monies paid will be refunded. Although we would aim to deliver the goods in one installment we may deliver in one or more installments.

A signature will be requested on delivery. You can opt for delivery without a signature but you then accept the risk should any damage or loss occur as a result.

Our standard, express and premium delivery timescales and prices are applicable to the majority of addresses in the United Kingdom and in normal weather conditions.

Standard delivery is 5 to 10 working days and costs £5.95. Express delivery is 1 to 2 working days and costs £6.95 (order before 2pm). If you opt for Premium delivery and order before noon you can receive goods in the morning of the next working day at a cost of £10.95
